"America I am "

After visiting the exhibit i think the title America I am means, I am a citizen of America. I say this because in all exhibits that we went to today all had to do with African Americans had to go through back in the day. American I am describes what peoples rights were and what they had to go through to gain their rights. "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere" a quote by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. In this quote I think it means wheres theres justice somewhere there is justice somewhere else. America I am is a way to show citizens that they are Americans and that they are intelligent and considerate people. Lastly American I am means that everybody is consider a American. In conclusion when we visited the exhibit and learned a lot of new facts, and also everybody is considered an American.

Good/Bad, Pro/Cons of standardized test for History

I think it is bad to have standardized test for history. I think it is bad because people forget more things about history then they do from math or english. A pro for this would be that it would help kids remember the most  important things about the history they learned in that class. A con would be that history would be the hardest test to pass and because a lot of kids don't remember history like they do with math and english. Another Pro would be that history standardized test would put kids with more knowledge of history they forgot and after you take the test for history it will kind of stick with you and if you see something about that in high school you would be right on it.
Even though a standardized test could be good for kids it is to much for us to be taking a whole lot of test. We have to take the DC-BAS 4 times, The A-Net 4 time, but that if your school is picked for it. Also you have to take the DC-Cas the biggest of them all and the end of the year exam for math and english. It is to much on the kids plate to have to take all of these test. This can also get stressful because taking a ship load of test can make kids tired and can get confusing.

Tuskegee Airmen Blog Post-Calvin Scott

There were many lessons that I learned from the Tuskegee Airmen, but sadly the requirements are for me too only say three. One lesson was follow your heart, I say this because the Tuskegee Airmen came from being young black men to becoming some of the best pilots. Another one is never give up , this is because the Tuskegee Airmen did not give up even when faced with certain defeat. Last is sometimes you have to make sacrifices, this is because they had to die just to protect the bombs. Those are the lesson that I have learned from the Tuskegee Airmen.

Lessons I learn From the Tuskegee Airmen

Three very important lesson I learned from the Tuskegee Airmen was one, to always strive to reach my goals in life because in the movie Train and Lt. Lee wanted to prove a point, that blacks can fly and they stuck to it. Another lesson I learn was to never give up and Lt. Lee from the movie never quit even thought all his friends died. The last lesson that I learn was from one of the Tuskegee Airmen himself, Lt. Broadwater and that was if you set your mind toward something stick to it and you will achieve it and he achieved his goal and became a Tuskegee Airmen. He inspired me because back then black weren't allow to do many things and to be black pilot was one of them. Lt. Broadwater was not only back but he became one of the first black male pilots.

Tuskegee Airmen Reflection

A lesson I learned from the Tuskegee Airmen is that you never give up  and never back down to anything strive for. I was motivated by Walter People and Train from the movie Tuskegee because they never gave up and were very strong and confident young men.

The Mock Hearing

The mock hearing was very fun to do we got be judged by a man named Mr. Justin he was very nice. We got to read the stuff we wrote to him and he wrote down notes then after we were done he asked our group questions about the  article 1,2,3 of the constitution   and I  think I did very well even thou I answered most of the question my whole group did good to me. I think I could have done better and I think we could have won as well but we did not do our best.
